Starting February 1st, 2009 I will be posting a daily picture in this gallery. I will try to include a picture of things that are meaningful to me or that reflect my day. Any feedback or comments are appreciated.

orsophotography > Wednesday, February 18, 2009. I had to drive to Arlington, Oregon today and I saw these giant wind propellers along the way, on the Oregon/Washington border. I took several pictures of them, but this one shows their sizes when compared to the little cows below them.
orsophotography > Tuesday, February 17, 2009. We took the bunny we found yesterday to the Humane Society today since we have not been able to find it's owner. While there we saw this little fella in one of the cages, playing with a toy... (we didn't know bunnies played with toys). They had several bunnies in different cages, waiting to be adopted...
orsophotography > Monday, February 16, 2009. When Jeneé got home this evening we found this bunny in front of our house.. She saw it crossing the street and almost getting hit by another car. We decided to take it and put it in a cardbox for the time being; Jeneé's sister will be taking it home overnight since our dog does not like other animals very much.
orsophotography > Sunday, February 15, 2009. Today's picture is from a church downtown Salem, OR. I was playing around with Adobe Lightroom 2.1, and I was trying to achieve an old look and feel for this picture. The sign was lit up, which didn't help much.. Please give me some feedback! Thanks.
orsophotography > Saturday, February 14, 2009. I have to admit that I took this picture on the 11th, but I liked it so much that I wanted to save it for today! Happy Valentine's Day and thank you all for your comments on my previous pictures.
orsophotography > Friday, February 13, 2009. Today's Daily Picture was taken by Gabe. We went to take pictures of some students from his school who were attending a Winter Formal dinner and this specific picture caught my attention. The picture was taken originally in color, but I think I like it better this way.
orsophotography > February 12, 2009. Today is Gabe's 15th Birthday!! It is amazing how time flies. We had a small celebration at home with a few family members, and a couple of his friends from school. We had a great dinner, ice cream cake, then Gabe and his friends went to see a movie.
orsophotography > Wednesday, February 11, 2009. Jeneé has been working on valentines for her students, and I saw this little box on the table today that looked pretty cool. I had to take a picture of it.
orsophotography > February 10, 2009. Today's Daily Picture was taken by Gabe (my 14 yr. old). He got a Nikon D40 last fall and he has been very active in taking pictures. For this picture, he was playing around with our 50mm lens and I really like the low light image he captured without using a flash. He is becoming a good photographer, and he is not afraid to try different settings, etc.
orsophotography > Monday, February 9, 2009. I decided to use another picture that Eli (my 8 yr. old) took for today's Daily Picture, this time of my wife Jeneé. She will probably ask me to take this picture down as she doesn't like to have her picture taken often, but I think this is a good picture of her and Eli did another great job composing this image, and making it different...
orsophotography > Sunday, February 8th, 2009. Eli wanted to take pictures today while we were getting our haircut; He really wanted for me to post this picture of him on the Daily Pictures gallery. He was having a good time with my camera and I was impressed on how well he was holding the camera.
orsophotography > Saturday, February 7th, 2009. Gabe and I drove to Silverton (Oregon) this morning, and we came across this mural of "The Mammoth - The World's Largest Camera" and I thought it was intersting enough to add to my daily gallery for today.
orsophotography > Friday, February 6th, 2009. Gabe (my 14 yr old son who is turning 15 on Feb. 12th) was kind enough to pose for me today so that I could try out our new strobes, and the new backdrop. I know he doesn't like to be 'in front of' the camera, but I am glad he did so that I could take his picture.
orsophotography > Thursday, February 5th, 2009. I have been playing with a new backdrop I made this week for some pictures I will be taking next week. Noah (my 4 yr old) volunteered to pose for me, but he had to try several different hats. I think this is one of my favorite hats he wore for the picture taking.
orsophotography > Wednesday, February 4th, 2009. As Valentine's Day approaches, today's picture is from a Valentine that is 83 years old and has been in the family for several generations. Valentine's have changed throughout the years...
