Starting February 1st, 2009 I will be posting a daily picture in this gallery. I will try to include a picture of things that are meaningful to me or that reflect my day. Any feedback or comments are appreciated.

orsophotography > November 12, 2009 Another Fall leaves shot as we wrap up the season and start getting ready for Winter. Gabe took this shot and I like the water dropplets on the center leaf.
orsophotography > November 11, 2009 Gabe and I stopped by the State Capitol park today to take a few Fall shots. Since it was a Holiday, there were not many people around, which was nice.
orsophotography > November 10 2009 This is a pretty cool looking piano that has actual ivory keys so can use the term,” I tickled the ivory keys!” on any note (pun intended) The piano belongs to my girlfriend Jessie's family, and this was the piano that her mom learned to play on, which I thought was pretty cool. The piano is very beautiful, and I have this urge to play it every time I go to her house. - Gabe
orsophotography > November 9 2009 I enjoy photographing plants, because: they don’t blink, they cooperate very well, they don’t move, there’s no red eye, there’s not a lot of PP that needs to be done, and you almost never have to pose them! GREAT RIGHT? Well unfortunately people get sick of viewing pictures of the same thing, just from a different angle, blah blah blah, but I thought this picture was kind of cool. It was taken in the gutter of our street and I was trying to capture the leaves crashing up against the curb. -Gabe
orsophotography > November 8 2009 Another picture of plant life, this photo was taken around 5 P.M with a 50mm 1.8 lens, so it was very fast but I like the shade of blue contrasting with the red in the leaves. -Gabe
orsophotography > November 7 2009 Gabe here, our neighbors have absolutely beautiful red and yellow flowers. Even this late in the year (which is absolutely amazing). This flower had “photograph me” written all over it! So this is the image that came from it!
orsophotography > November 6 2009 Gabe here again. We were mowing the lawn and i got distracted by this beautiful silhouette. So i ran inside and grabbed the camera and used Spot metering instead of matrix so it sucked all the light from the sun giving me this unique image!
orsophotography > November 5 2009 Hey guys this is Gabe (Andre's oldest son) and i took this photo on a photoshoot with a senior i did, and it looked to me like a group of Mums inside another flower. Pretty interesting if you look at it.
orsophotography > November 4, 2009. I have been processing a bunch of photos taken a few weeks ago, and I came across this one that Jeneé took during her birthday party. These eggs looked weird, bu they tasted great. We also learned NOT to place eggs on black napkin - they absorb the color from the napkin.
orsophotography > Tuesday, November 3, 2009. Gabe and I went out last night to try to photograph the moon. This has always been a challenge for us. We used our 200mm, but I had to crop it a little to get a better look. Photographing the moon will continue to be a "work in progress" for us.
orsophotography > Monday, November 2, 2009. I am still processing some photos from yesterday's photo shoot at the Oregon State Capitol park. Here is a side view of the Capitol Building, taken approximately around 5:45pm.
orsophotography > Sunday, November 1, 2009. After a brief interruption, I am re-staring my Daily Picture. This photo was taken today, after the sun was already down. I set my tripod and did a long exposure and amazing enough, the sky came out this nice and rich blue color. We had a great day today - the sun was out and the sky very clear.
orsophotography > September 11, 2009. I took this photo during the Flag Ceremony at our kids' school this morning. All the students circled around the flag pole and watched, sang, and enjoyed being a part of this event.
orsophotography > September 10, 2009. First JV football game tonight...They ended up losing, but it was a good game. Here are 3 players on the sideline, watching their team mates as they tackled down another player during the second quarter...
orsophotography > September 9, 2009. Sunset from a parking lot at our kids' school... The sky looked beautiful with no clouds, just orange tone behind this old tree...
