orsophotography > Thursday, March 19, 2009. Gabe, Eli, and I went to take some night pictures of the Oregon State Capitol building on Tuesday night. This was the first time Eli joined Gabe and I and he is the one who took this picture. Gabe came up with the composition idea, and he even took a few shots with his camera, which turned out pretty good too. Then Eli added another flower and captured this one, which I like a lot. I am posting Eli's picture since he hasn't had one of his pictures posted for a while. I think he did a great job!
orsophotography > August 31, 2009. This photo was taken a couple of days ago, but I just now finished with the pp. It was a foggy and windy day at the Oregon Coast when this was taken, and the sun was hidden. As always, the water was too cold for swimming, but we still had a good time in the water.

She didn't want her picture taken, but then agreed to do something silly. I think this turned out pretty good, considering I wasn't looking at the viewfinder, just clicking away...
orsophotography > Thursday, April 30, 2009. I was cleaning up some of my old photos from Lightoom and came across this one that I took a few weeks ago, when the flowers were in full bloom. It's too bad they don't normally last very long, because they sure add a lot of color to the yard.

I have been posting church related pictures on Sundays, but today I wanted to make an exception and post this picture I took yesterday of the cherry blossoms in front of the Oregon State Capitol building. All the trees looked awesome, and I really enjoyed having this opportunity on a nice and sunny day.
orsophotography > Tuesday, March 10, 2009. Gabe took today's Daily Picture. Since he has to dress up as character from the book "To Kill a Mockingbird" and he chose Tom Robinson. He gets extra credit for taking a 3D prop, so, he decided to take this pair of handcuffs, which are 15 years old (but still work).
orsophotography > Monday, May 11, 2009. Gabe took a picture of his shadow the other day, and I just found it in Lightroom as I was processing some other photos from the weekend. I really like how this picture turned out - great composition.
orsophotography > Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Noah and I were hanging out for part of this afternoon and I took these pictures while we waited for Gabe to get out of school. He fixed his own hair today and once he found his old, lost, pair of sunglasses in my truck, he wanted to wear it. You can actually see my SP reflecting on his sunglasses on the second picture.
orsophotography > Sunday, April 26, 2009. Here are some pictures from the 1949 Cadillac that someone graciously brought to the auction yesterday and allowed people to be photographed by it as they walked into the auction. The owner, Bill, also allowed Gabe to drive it around the parking lot before he left for the evening. What a great treat for Gabe. He was extremely excited at this rare opportunity.
