Daily Pictures 2009-11
Starting February 1st, 2009 I will do my best to post a daily picture in this gallery. I will try to include a picture of things that are meaningful to me or that reflect my day. Any feedback or comments are appreciated.

I took this photo near my father and mother-in-law's house. This bush looked so vibrant and rich that I had to capture it. I am not happy with my framing job on this one... I think there might be a better way to display this photo that is more complementary. Any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated.
Update: 7/10/09: I changed the frame from the white border to this one, which I like it a little better.

on July 17, 2009Personally, since you mentioned the framing, I wouldn't frame it at all. I think the plain image would be more powerful. I'd lighten it up a bit since it seems a tad dark to me, and to brighten the blue. The blue is gorgeous and you want that to be the main thing that attracts, yes?

I don't frame much of my stuff digitially, but I agree with Isrishmurr on the pastel suggestion.

on July 10, 2009Gorgeous colors! Maybe a frame that wasn't so stark? Maybe a pastel color? Just a thought. I think it's a lovely shot!

on July 10, 2009This vibrant blue hydrangea is great. I have trouble capturing the true essence of this particular flower myself. Chuck has done an excellent job with this flower in both color and black and white on his site http://cbeehner.smugmug.com/ if you want some ideas.
