Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Here is the turkey that we had today, which was cooked by my mother-in-law. It turned out great!

  • April 4, 2011<br /> <br /> I took this photo the other day and I decided to post it as a daily photo. We have been having a lot of rain in Oregon and it has been difficult to find nice days to go out and take photos. This is Oregon's State Capitol building, in Salem.
  • Sunday, March 20, 2011<br /> <br /> We were making some birthday cards today with flowers on them and Gabe took this photo from one of the flowers on our front yard. I did the post production, and it turned out great printed.

  • Saturday, February 26, 2010<br /> <br /> Took this photo while in San Francisco. I took Gabe to a kicking camp near San Francisco, and we had a chance to stop by the Golden Gate park.
  • Saturday, January 22, 2010<br /> <br /> Noah, my 6 yr old son, and I went out today (just the two of us) to take photos. It was a nice day, and I captured this photo of him as he took a photo of the State Capitol building... I decided it would be a good daily photo.
  • December 11, 2010<br /> <br /> Zoo lights at the Portland Zoo. This is a photos of the train we rode around the Zoo park. It was really cool, too bad it was raining a little. I got this photo as we were leaving the train area to go home.
  • December 12, 2010<br /> <br /> I took this photo of my in-laws Christmas tee today. I did the post production in Photoshop. Christmas trees seem to always have a "magical" look and feel to them. I will try to photograph all of my in-laws tress and post it here.
  • November 28, 2010<br /> <br /> I took this photo yesterday while we were getting our Christmas tree. It had rained in the morning, but by the time we were at the Christmas tree farm, the sun was out. I really liked how these water dropplets looked when the sun hit them.
  • November 27, 2010<br /> <br /> We followed our family tradition and went to a Christmas Farm to get our Christmas tree today. It was a cloudy day, but we were fortunate enough not to experience any rain. Gabe, Eli, and Noah took turns cutting down the tree, which is another tradition. They did a great job. Here is a photo of Eli and Noah taking their turns.

  • October 20, 2010<br /> <br /> I took this photo tonight of the Salem Academy Football Field just as practice was ending. I took a total of 4 photos and combined them together to form this one... I want to play around with panoramas a little more next week and see if I can get a better photo.

  • August 27, 2010<br /> <br /> I have been processing some of the photos we took while camping at Devil's Lake in Lincoln City, Oregon. Here is a photo I took of the lake and the docs. We had very nice weather, which was really nice during our camping trip.

  • Saturday, August 14, 2010<br /> <br /> Here is a long exposure shot Gabe took last night (about 12.6 min). We were amazed by the amount of stars that you can actually see when you drive outside of the city lights...
  • Friday, August 13, 2010<br /> <br /> Gabe and I tried to go out tonight again and take photos of the meteor shower, but came home with this photo. Gabe was experimenting with light painting and took this photo we both liked. We did get another photo of the sky and we will post it tomorrow, after we process it.
  • Thursday, August 12, 2010<br /> <br /> Gabe and I drove to a deserted road on the country tonight to try to photograph some of the meteors. We found out that it is tougher than we anticipated (to photograph meteor shower). After about an hour of trying, we saw several meteors, but were not able to capture any of them. So, we tried to play with long exposures and came up with this photo...
  • Saturday, August 7, 2070<br /> <br /> I was going through some of my photos from the week and I came across this one that I really liked. This was taken just outside of Salem, OR, on the way to Silverton. I did the pp in Lightroom 3.
