Today's picture is from a bank located downtown Independence, Oregon. When I saw this old bank, in great condition standing by itself downtown, I just had to capture it. I like the architectural details - and the classic style. They sure don't make it like this anymore. I could not decide on the pp for this photo.. color or antique?

on March 7, 2009The antique side looks very interesting - the color sometimes is too busy. Great capture!

on February 25, 2009Great building and interesting question re the PP. I think I'd like to see it in sepia too :)

on February 25, 2009It looks great in color but would probably look even better in sepia.

on February 24, 2009Banks, the opera house( theatre) and churches used to be the beautiful buildings in the towns across America. When we left this beautiful architectual style, we diluted the beauty of a town and left sprawling "salt box" buildings. Thanks for capturing this and bringing good memories.
